Our General Assistance Fund helps families with children meet unexpected or out-of-reach basic needs for a stronger household foundation

How To Apply

Our General Assistance Fund is for requests that fall outside our other programs and meet these guidelines:

​

  • Funds must go directly to support individuals and families within Chelan & Douglas counties who have at least one family member living in the home under the age of 18.

  • Requests will be reviewed at our monthly meeting; we are not able to support emergency requests.

  • Funds will be dispersed via grocery gift cards, bills paid directly to providers (utilities, car repair, etc.) No checks or money will be given directly. 

  • Applicants are eligible for one funds request per year.
